Havana Club 7-Year Rum is distilled from fermented molasses and aged in charred white oak barrels for seven years.
Havana Club rum is still made in Cuba - where the company was founded by José Arechabala in 1878 and then nationalized in 1959 after the Cuban Revolution. Havana Club is now jointly owned by Pernod Ricard and the Cuban government.

Elég markáns tiszta rum íz, semmi mellékíz, de összességében finom.
Smooth taste, nice to drink with a cigar. Gift from FoL
I like the leather, tobacco aftertaste since I snusar. Its not smokey but has a very distinct taste.
I've always been a fan of Havana Club rums and the 7-Year Old is the go-to stalwart of the clan. Good along but, honestly, better with a (Diet) Coke. The beautiful dark color is great and the slightly smokey and leathery flavor is spot on. Great rum.
Go to for Cuba Libres, before I had to stop drinking them because they went down to fast with this one.
I received this as a gift and had to sample a shot just to see how it compared to other rums I have tasted. I has all of the good qualities of an agrico without being too harsh. It mixes well without dominating the drink and it is a joy to just sip. Frequently I use finger food to blunt some of the bitter or harsh qualities of a rum. They are not needed here. I would definitely buy this one if it were available here. It is not. It is a good solid 8 because it mixes well and it is good by itself. I gave it a 9 because it never stops being good all the way to the finish.
Havana Club Añejo 7 Años has a dazzling and clear mahogany colour...

'caramel, cane sugar, and a bit of cinnamon character in the finish'

Their is a creamy/buttery vanilla like smell oak, dry tobacco and smokiness.
"It’s very hot, spicy and very bitter. Luckily the burn isn’t bad and very short. Subsequent sips are much smoother."
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

Not my normal purchase but found this on a trip (couldn’t find my regulars). Nice smooth taste without a burn.
