Havana Club 7-Year Rum is distilled from fermented molasses and aged in charred white oak barrels for seven years.
Havana Club rum is still made in Cuba - where the company was founded by José Arechabala in 1878 and then nationalized in 1959 after the Cuban Revolution. Havana Club is now jointly owned by Pernod Ricard and the Cuban government.

Tried in a hotel bar, nice and dark, slightly smoky. Another different taste to the others I have tried.
Pretty good rum, however nothing out of the ordinary.
My friend was excited to surprise me with a Rum I haven't tried. She poured it, neat, in a small glass for me. I usually drink my rum with ice. She didn't tell me it was rum so I had to guess everything.
The nose was fragrant but harsh. I'm sure all my nosehairs are gone. The palette is interesting. Lots of flavors. Still very harsh. Pretty confusing. As it sits, the flavor changes... but at no point did I think this was a rum.
Overall, while not knowing what I'm drinking, my overall thought on this mystery liquor was that it tasted flavored (added) and my guess was a cheap whiskey or vodka with natural and added flavors... oops!
On my first trip to Cuba I tried this Rum for the first time( when in Rome…). It became my go to drink everyday. I also introduced my son to it. I have been teaching my son the difference between good sipping rum and cheaper rums that you put in cocktails. This is a good sipping rum.
This was on offer at £21 so had to be worth a punt. As a sipper I'm not so keen on the dark, almost coffee-ish notes - the more approachable golden flavours of Havana Club Anejo Especial are more appealing. But with coke it's a different game and it's a really solid mixer, no complaints at all!
Cuban version hard to get here in US so feel lucky to try. Nice carmel and vanilla without the bourbon overtones that a lot of rums have.
firm, sharper rum with a dominant alcohol flavor. you smell a box full of cigars. just too much of a good thing. I like a rum that is just a little sweeter.
I've been told that the predominant alcohol taste diminishes after the bottle has been opened for a week. I'm curious
very nice and tasty 7y rum. good with cuban cigars.
Havana Club Añejo 7 Años has a dazzling and clear mahogany colour...

Their is a creamy/buttery vanilla like smell oak, dry tobacco and smokiness.
"It’s very hot, spicy and very bitter. Luckily the burn isn’t bad and very short. Subsequent sips are much smoother."
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

Es un ron para mezclar con coca cola u otro cóctel. No lo recomiendo como bebida para tomar puro. Pensé que era mejor
