Barcelo Imperial Onyx

This one is one level better then Imperial. A lot of fruit in taste and in nose

This rum was something else and fairly unexpected. It was sweet but not too sweet and had a very rich, warm taste. More caramel than fruit and something you can spend an evening with at a slow pace.

The bottle is a sturdy and elegant piece of work that looks good in any cabinet.

Beautiful bottle, beautiful dark amber rum in the glass, but thats it.
Weak smell, not that much taste and a bitter short after taste.
For this money you can get much better rum for the bucks.
Disepointed!

God rom men det finns andra som är mer prisvärda. Mellan torr med fin bärnstensfärg

Smoky with very good texture and sweetness at the end.!!!!

This taste... Mmmh. Sweet but strong, a long lasting, i love it...and my lovely wife too when she give me a kiss !! 😅🤘

Schöne dunkle Bernsteinfarben,
Geruch Karamell., Holznote, sehr gefällig
Geschmacklich ein wenig Süß, Karamell, Gewürze und die Whiskeylagerung,
Im Abgang nicht sofort weg und ein wenig herb.
Ein guter Whiskey, ähh, sorry, Rum mit Whiskey-Note !

Compared this one to Ron de Jeremy XO and the El Dorado 12y. I would rate it as the middle one. Probably because i like the dessert like afterdinner rums. More complex than el Dorado but nog do smooth as the Jeremy XO.

Nothing outstanding in aroma, taste, intoxication. But everything is just above average. There are some cherries, smoke, wood, chocolate. A little sweet. Nice to drink. No consequences in the morning.
