If you’re primarily a whiskey drinker looking for a rum that is less sweet than most but still offers great rum taste this rum is for you. Very smooth with subtle spice notes. Easy to drink and enjoy neat.

This is like getting a new burger at McDonald's. Fundamentally it's just a quarter pounder with fancy sauce and fancy lettuce or upscale cheese or something. This is so definitely a flor de cana rum. But the age and barrel bring out more complex notes of dewy melon and vanilla. I'm really enjoying this and might add it to my regular rotation. It's unbelievably smooth with a long tasty finish.

Picked this up since it was one of the better rated rums in the ~$50 price range and I have no regrets. It has a nice spiciness to it which I like, without being too dry. Would recommend.

I was very disappointed with this rum because it tastes very bitter.
I think I will empty it in the WC

Reasonably complex, but disappointing for the money. The burn is long lasting and offputting for an 18 year variety. I enjoy the 5 and 12 almost as much. The former is not as complex, but fine overall and affordable. The later is actually preferred to the 18 as it went down smoother.

Od tohohle rumu jsem čekal hodně. První 18-ti letý rum, krásná láhev...no a pak to pití. Nebylo to špatné ale čekal jsem něco víc.

I used to be a scotch drinker and after trying this I am a 18 year Flor De Cana drinker. Best tasting aged spirit I have ever tried.

Earthiness and fruit of the 12y turns into more woody notes and raisins, and almost blends together into praline aroma, but don't worry, it is without any noticeable additives. It is also dry like all of its range.
