Tenhle rum se holedbá nízkou ekologickou stopou. Otázkou je nakolik je to marketing. Chuťové mi přijde celkem podobný jejich 12y. Za mě příjemné pití pro lidi, co nemusí sladké.

rated the FDC 12 at 7. Tried the 18 and gave it an 8. So not surprising this is a solid 7. What I am surprised at is the "eco" tag and additional 3 years is going to cost an additional $20 in Alberta....almost 50% more than the 12 year and almost the same amount as the 18. Kudos to the FDC marketing department but is NOT enough of a sensory difference for the extra $$. Cheers

My bottle doesn’t say 15(or any age for that matter) but it’s definitely dry like everyone else on here says. It’s rum. Straight forward and, clearly unadulterated. Be that as it may, it was a gift, so I’ll drink it

Well, the rum has all the nowadays trendy and important (for some people) slogans: carbon neutral, eco friendly, recycled material, etc. Due to these I had prejudices, because it is the same when you see the word "premium" on a beer. But the rum was a pleasant surprise. As it is from Nicaragua I was expecting a sweet rum, but it is quite dry. On the nose I feel nutmeg, in the taste caramel, vanilla and oak. Tasty. Now I can save the planet and get drunk the same time.

This one tastes a tiny bit more spicy than the 18Y, but it is still smooth as well. But, like all other products of this brand I‘ve tasted so far, it lacks in volume and body.

Dont get me wrong. This is a pretty respectable rhum. However, i was à little bit desapointed. I had big expectations since i found quite delicious the 12 years. So i was expecting more, but the taste was not there.

Sugar: estimated at 5 GPL. Not much to report on this 15 year old version from Flor de Cana rum distillery. Similar to, but with a slight upgrade from the 12 year old rum. Oak, vanilla, a bit of caramel and some spice to give it a bite.
Excellent mixer, but it holds it's own a sipper with a touch of ice.
Not sure if it's worth the extra cost when compared to the 12 year old vintage.

Taste is very similar to 12y and the question is, if make sense to pay more money...

Caramel, hazelnut and vanilla aroma; caramel, honey and spicy pepper in body; not significant tail.
