Un des premiers que j'ai acheté et goûté. A toujours avoir dans son bar
This really reminded me of drinking Jameson Irish Whiskey. For me, it just has a very similar flavour profile. I enjoyed it and would drink it again, but it isn't really the flavour I'm looking for when I reach for the rum bottle.
Really like this, and doesn't fail to impress friends who aren't really rum fans.
A massive step up from diplomaticos Mantuano in quality, and well worth the few quid extra, especially when you can pick it up on offer.
Sweet. Super sweet. Makes you wanna keep on sipping. One of my top favorites. Also quite afordable.
The inviting smell, the sweetness of the flavors, and the delightful finish. It's all fantastic. Great mouth feel.
This is a flavor-bomb, very complex and almost chewy
Really good rum for the price. It is sweet without getting too sweet.
Very balanced in the taste.I was truly blown away with the Diplomatic Reserva Exclusiva Rum. This instantly became one of my favorites. Money well spent.
Exquisito ron de Venezuela, incomparable aroma de miel y madera y un gusto bastante dulce pero agradable. Muy buen ron a mi gusto.
For the price and flavor, you simply can't beat this, its nose is heavy on the caramel, with the taste adding vanilla and a slightly woody finish. it absolutely coats your mouth which some may not like, but because of this, it stays with you for long after you put down your glass.
It reminds me of a sweater El Dorado 12 years, but that may just be because of the vanilla and caramel notes.
"The palate evokes chocolate sauce and the sweet toffee, fudge and tropical fruit flavours from the nose"
"The nose is dominated by notes of caramel, toffee and crème. On the back end of the aromas, I can detect a hint of smoke and pineapple"

Smells sweet. It is fruity, oranges, grapes and raisins with scents of chocolate and a sweet almost syrupy.
"The tasting notes on the site are very accurate vanilla, fudge/toffee sauce are noticeable as are notes of vanilla and a finish which is slightly bitter like cocoa which leaves a hit of oakiness on the taste buds. The finish is pretty short. ."

Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

This is a solid inexpensive rum if you're a fan of very sweet drinks. Not my go to, but good as dessert
