Sweet, enjoyable and forgiving. You can always enjoy a glass or 15 of this one. Great rum to present non-pirates to, unless they are already into whiskey or cognac.
For all those who like cognac more than whiskey this rum might turn you over to our side.
Light in color, smooth to the taste, fine aftertaste. It has a pleasant sweetness.
To be honest Plantation OFTD was a lot sweeter.
It is defenetly a sipping rum, that should be paired with a fine cigar.
I bought a bottle mainly because rum availability and spirit prices are not great where i live. I read lot of mixed rewies about this rum, which may affect my opinion. I am not a big fan of claimed adding sugar to rum.
Очень мягкий и сглаженный вкус. Приятно пить и интересно играться с ароматом.
Из очевидных минусов, искусственная сладость.
One of my first to try. Still have a bottle of it in my cabinet as a regular
Up until a few years ago, I believed liquor to be a means to an end, and not something to be savored. One afternoon several years ago I met up with a friend from high school that I hadn’t seen in over a decade. He brought forth two lowball glasses and a bottle of this delightful Venezuelan rum. My drinking habits have been irreversibly changed since that day and I couldn’t be happier. An excellent “gateway rum” with the only caveat being that you must prefer a sweeter rum. If I was to have any issues with this rum, it would be that it could dial back the sweetness just a touch. That being said, I still enjoy this rum. It has a place in my liquor cabinet, and deservedly so.
A very “worth it” rum, by that i mean you get a great taste at a relatively cheap Price
I like it very much! Fine rum that i will shurely buy next time!
"The palate evokes chocolate sauce and the sweet toffee, fudge and tropical fruit flavours from the nose"
"The nose is dominated by notes of caramel, toffee and crème. On the back end of the aromas, I can detect a hint of smoke and pineapple"

Smells sweet. It is fruity, oranges, grapes and raisins with scents of chocolate and a sweet almost syrupy.
"The tasting notes on the site are very accurate vanilla, fudge/toffee sauce are noticeable as are notes of vanilla and a finish which is slightly bitter like cocoa which leaves a hit of oakiness on the taste buds. The finish is pretty short. ."

Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label
