Look its nice and sweet and very tasty but it's been loaded with extra sugar. I love rum liqueur and that's what this is but with 40 abv
This was my rum which got me into the rums, great baseline, but once you try more rums, this became a bit too sweet for me.
Sweet. Hard sniff reminds me of Exotic Vodka from the 90/00. Nice, but might not be worth the price.
Was recommended this and its a great sub for those whiskey crossover to make rum old fashiond
Good liqueur (easy to sip on ice), Bad rum. How snobbish ? No, not really.... Frankly, this is just like Kahlua mees Cointreau or other triple sec, not a proper rhum, there are no molasses nor sugarcane in this, just cheap white alcohol - first price vodka probably, or that kind of eau-de-vie that should cost you half the price of what they sell at least (for those who claim this is cheap !!!) - with sugar (loads, I think Drecon stated 41 grams per liter) and coffee/caramel flavours added after distillation.
Interesting rum but quite sweet (because of the additives?). For people starting to enjoy rum this is an easy one to drink pure however better in cocktails once you have tried better quality rum. Sweet nose and mild aromas. Just good, not amazing.
This is one is very good all around, finish aroma taste. Best drunk on its own. A must to drink
"The palate evokes chocolate sauce and the sweet toffee, fudge and tropical fruit flavours from the nose"
"The nose is dominated by notes of caramel, toffee and crème. On the back end of the aromas, I can detect a hint of smoke and pineapple"

Smells sweet. It is fruity, oranges, grapes and raisins with scents of chocolate and a sweet almost syrupy.
"The tasting notes on the site are very accurate vanilla, fudge/toffee sauce are noticeable as are notes of vanilla and a finish which is slightly bitter like cocoa which leaves a hit of oakiness on the taste buds. The finish is pretty short. ."

Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

A bit too sweet for me but better than connoisseur's give it credit for. Simple, straightforward nose of sweet toblerone, toffee, vanilla, butterscotch and caramel; a little nuttiness, and a hint of light fruit.
Palate. A little oak, muscovado sugar and caramel, vanilla, light fruits, cinnamon, nothing particularly new or adventurous. Overall, even on the finish, and then judged overall, it had little beyond a pleasant, warm sort of sweet unaggressive nature only marginally redeemed by a light tart fruity note here or there, and the edge imparted by a little oak. Beyond that, it was way too sweet for my taste.
