Diplomatico Reserva Exclusiva rum is distilled from molasses in copper pot stills and then aged in small oak casks for on average 12 years before being bottled.
Produced in Venezuela, which has a rich rum history dating to 1896, the Diplomatico Reserva Exclusiva distillery is located on the northern slopes of the Andes mountains.

The perfect middle-of-the-road rum flavorful characteristics without breaking the bank. Definitely a good starting point if you are exploring for quality.
This rum is a true upgrade to Dipomatico's standard bottle. It has a sweet and smooth flavor. While I typically don't drink rum straight, as I'm a sucker for the old rum and coke cocktail, I do from time to time switch to sipping rums after I've had a few...or if I'm at a social event where I can get away with bringing along a flask or bottle to share with my buds. This rum is very popular in my circle of friends.
Nice bottle, color of the rum is fine, smell and taste reminds me to a slice of an orange. Overall: good taste and good value for the money.

Smooth, notes of vanilla toffee, oak and spice. Perfect enjoyed neat.
It has very specific taste, fruity, little bit alcoholic and covered by sweetness. Really good and enjoyable.
