It’s fairly easy to find in the US - FL & MI at least. Nice for an after dinner drink, but like all desserts … one or two is good … beyond that is too much.
Always a must to have a bottle on hand, especially for having non-rum drinking family & friends to taste. They generally are pleasantly surprised.
It's very, very similar to Plantation XO, but a tad better, I guess it's made to please everybody except hardcore rum aficionados. This rum might be the sweetest 80 proof liquids I ever drunk, so it's meaningless to say if it's good sipper or not. It's meant to be a sipper, you don't want to spend it on cocktails.
Some other time when my rum taste improves, I'd say it's too simple and too sweet and too liquery-ish kind of drink. But for now I definitely rate it at 83-84 out of 100, so it's 8/10 here.
One of my first rums I drank for the rum itself and it is also the my favorite off all time.
It all starts with a dark molasses colour with a crisp, clear, spice, molasses and fruity aroma that reaches out at you as soon as you open the bottle. The taste is dry, sweet molasses, smooth, balanced, and complex. A pure pleasure for the tastebuds.
New to the rum game but enjoying it immensely First rum i bought for my collection. Sweet caramel taste and fruity taste. Bad thing about it the bottle didnt last long lol thank goodness for the state store.
I think it is one of the most famous rums, which drinks well and does not disappoint. Delicious taste with a sweet finish.
Excellent rum, which already has strong competitors. Nevertheless, I like to return to him.
Very smooth, and rounded. Not overly balanced and maybe a hair sweeter than perfect, but I will never turn this one down to sip.
Great unique and special flavor, especially the sweet, caramel, excellent for sipping. Always present on my best moments, never fails
Perfect blend of smooth, hot, and sweet for sipping neat.
"The palate evokes chocolate sauce and the sweet toffee, fudge and tropical fruit flavours from the nose"
"The nose is dominated by notes of caramel, toffee and crème. On the back end of the aromas, I can detect a hint of smoke and pineapple"

Smells sweet. It is fruity, oranges, grapes and raisins with scents of chocolate and a sweet almost syrupy.
"The tasting notes on the site are very accurate vanilla, fudge/toffee sauce are noticeable as are notes of vanilla and a finish which is slightly bitter like cocoa which leaves a hit of oakiness on the taste buds. The finish is pretty short. ."

Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

I like sweet but needs to be balanced out. Very smooth. Syrupy. Smells like rum raisin vanilla and banana. Might be the best smelling rum I've found.
