My go to rum, always a secure winner, a balance sweet rum with a nice burn and a long aftertaste. A really great rum especially for its price

One of the sweeter rums out there, I enjoyed it quite a bit but am no rum connoisseur.

It is definitely a sweet rum because it has added sugar however, it's not that bad. Initially it does have a certain taste but I would not call it cough syrup-I think that is just the raisin flavor punching in heavily. It is only 40% so I never expected it to knock my socks off in any way. Everybody has different tastes but the only way you will know is if you try it for yourself. It is sweet but not so sweet that it is unbareable, unless you really aren't a fan of sweet drinks. If you like orange, raisin, vanilla and caramel go for it. If you don't like sweet then maybe go for a Zaya or Ron Zacapa.

Different rum has different purposes and this one is dessert. Smooth and sweet with caramel and vanilla notes, stands up ok to ice but you don’t need it. Mixing it would be a criminal act.

Yes, it is sweet as hell, nevertheless I like it more than Zacapa. It tastes like some toffee candy, but a really great one! Simply decent sipping rumwhich definitely shouldn't be missing in every rum enthuasiast's cabinet :)

now this rum and me is like romeo and juliet, my bmw and me, heavy metal and me, it's a love story. i rated it 8 because somewhere out there there must be a 9 or a 10 and i feel they must get the praise once i discover them. having said that, i will always love this rum and currently my fav to mix with coke. and yes, that makes me a bad boy ;)

Tento rum si ma získal na prvý kuk. Jeho najväčšia prednosť je vyváženosť chuti, sladkosti, vône. Vôňa je nasladlá, jemne zadymená a po dubových sudoch. Prvý dojem je sladší, hrozienkovo-vanilkovi, karamelovi, s chuťou po dubových sudoch. Záver je príjemne hrejúci s dotykom alkoholu. Tým , že je sladší je vhodný aj pre "začiatočníkov" a ich polovičky :) Za cenu cca 30€ za fľašu je to adekvátna fajnotka.

If I had to give a sipping rum to a skeptical friend this is the one I’d recommend. It’s rich, dark, sweet and oaky but in a classy very well balanced way. My preference is generally for drier Bajan rums -hence the 8/10. But this is very good stuff
