I have enjoyed a few bottles of this in the past. I like oaky runs and this one fits the bill. Very smooth no harshness.
I love it a sweet flavor but it is not unbearable. On the palate can feel raisin, orange, spice and a bit of caramel and brown sugar.
I remember this rum like one of my first, i realy liket sipping straight :)
I used to like this for his smoothness; then I discovered his ~40 g/l sugar percentage... needless to say, it is a good sugary-maple syrup, with a lot of vanilla, oak and a faint afterburn. 6,5 bottles, Diplomatico needs an effort to reduce sugar in these products. I'd love to taste an unadulterated Venezuelan one!
I like this a lot, smooth, caramel flavours and a great price.
Rich amber in colour with a powerful caramel/vanilla aroma on the nose. Smooth rich buttery caramel and vanilla overtones and smokey oak finish. This is great on ice
This rum has it all its sweet , smooth and rich in flavor. The price is very affordable also.
Nemt rom at drikke og mange starter her, inklusiv mig selv. Altid i skabet og til tider kommer man tilbage og skal smage igen
Slik, chokolade og ren hygge..
En rigtig meditations rom
"The palate evokes chocolate sauce and the sweet toffee, fudge and tropical fruit flavours from the nose"
"The nose is dominated by notes of caramel, toffee and crème. On the back end of the aromas, I can detect a hint of smoke and pineapple"

Smells sweet. It is fruity, oranges, grapes and raisins with scents of chocolate and a sweet almost syrupy.
"The tasting notes on the site are very accurate vanilla, fudge/toffee sauce are noticeable as are notes of vanilla and a finish which is slightly bitter like cocoa which leaves a hit of oakiness on the taste buds. The finish is pretty short. ."
