Dictador Solera Ultra Premium Reserve 12-Year

Smells a lot like coffee. I could sniff it all day. You can taste hints of coffee, nuts and the barrel. The taste is a little sweet up front but that melts away and it gets bitter in the tail.
I've been coming back to this one specifically and enjoying it, so I'll bump it up to an 8.

Tasty and sweet. Butterscotch and molasses with a touch of coffee. Pretty much like a butter rum lifesaver. Pleasant but a bit of a dent in the wallet.

Its a lot lighter than i imagined in colour i thought it would be darker due to the bottle which is a very nice bottle .Smells nice can smell a bit of like burnt oak and coffee. Prefer this on the rocks you can definitely taste more with a good mouth full rather than sipping from the front of the tongue has a nice warmth to it going down.my favourite thing about it though is probably the after taste leaves a really nice oaky coffee taste i think it would go well with certain foods I'm not sure what though.This is a good rum but i think its a little bit over priced if I'm honest i paid £36 which is similar to what you would pay for Diplomatico

If I would have someone give me a glass and say thats coffee liquor inside - I might not even be alerted by the initial bitterness in the nose, strength, and sugar cane on the tongue.
The aftertaste is pure coffee, and a rich one at that.
Mind you, this is a good Rum, one with a specialty.

Coffee and chocolate is the main taste you will fell and I enjoyed it. Then the burn. First try wasn't pleasant, but next one was.

I gave it 8 because 9 is for dictador 20 years !!!!
I really love the distinctive taste of this rum. Strong smell of freshly cut oak, nicely coupled with coffee
