Trinidad and Tobago | Aged | 40% ABV
Angostura 1919 rum is produced in Trinidad by blending a combination of light and heavy molasses distilled rums. These rums spend at least 8 years aging in American oak bourbon barrels.
The name Angostura "1919" refers to the event in 1932 when Angostura's distillery was destroyed by fire. Miraculously, a handful of barrels filled with rum from 1919 survived and were purchased by J.B. Fernandes - the master blender of Fernandes Distillers.

Nice neutral rum. Easy to drink. Not a strong taste. Curious about the 1824 now.
For some reason this is my favorite rum. It has great taste, minimal aftertaste, and great body. Great straight from the bottle.
it's an interesting rum. I would say that it is a less powerful 1824 on the smell and taste, shyer with a shorter finish, but it's still a good rum.
Soft and slightly sweet, vanilla, it leaves reflected a slight bitterness. In the background one can feel a discreet salty taste, iodized like a whiskey Islay
Caution ice emphasize the bitterness of this rum
Trevlig... Men mer att önska.
⭐️⭐️⭐️................
Too light, too much of an alcohol presence. Ok for mixing but why spend this much for a mixing rum?
This rum was a nice surprise. Strong lingering flavour. Very nice!

There is a little “oak and smoke” and a very small scent of fruit.
"The rum is very smooth with notes of oak, cocoa and vanilla. Perhaps a little banana but very subtle."

For my taste this is a perfect rum to have in a cocktail, on the rocks or whit garnish. This is simply a good rum to have as an all-purpose rum, but not the best one to drink neat.
