Trinidad and Tobago | Aged | 40% ABV
Angostura 1919 rum is produced in Trinidad by blending a combination of light and heavy molasses distilled rums. These rums spend at least 8 years aging in American oak bourbon barrels.
The name Angostura "1919" refers to the event in 1932 when Angostura's distillery was destroyed by fire. Miraculously, a handful of barrels filled with rum from 1919 survived and were purchased by J.B. Fernandes - the master blender of Fernandes Distillers.

One of my favorite rum's from Trinidad nice sipping rum.
I like this one for using in my dark and stormys and in manhattans, also really good mojitos. You can drink neat but I still prefer the 1824 it 12 year eldorado
Not a rum that I will buy again. Boring aftertaste.
a good one for a quite young rum. I'd consider it as a daily drinker
Got to try at my bros at turkey time. Very good one to pull off my wish list. Was good straight and mixed with coke.
This is a great Rum to enjoy over a large ice cube just sipping away and finding yourself putting more into your glass
Great memories attached to it from past visits to Trinidad
molasses. half dry rum.
the sweetness is really weak, that´s good!
i open the bottle and there is vanilla.soft, easy, light body. smooth. in the end a little bite of pepper!
not really complex, but an easy sipping rum.
in the world full of sweet rums this little brother is a benefit. less is much more!
although in the end i take 7 out of 10 bottles.
Nice caramel flavour that makes it a nice rum to mix, not ideal to drink neat.

There is a little “oak and smoke” and a very small scent of fruit.
"The rum is very smooth with notes of oak, cocoa and vanilla. Perhaps a little banana but very subtle."
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

I consider this a very good quality rum. It has a full, semi sweet and quite earthy taste with a considerable amount of alcohol in the aftertaste.
