This is actually a very good rum with interesting body. But it didnt really get me so for me, something is missing there.
This was given as a gift. Smooth and tasty. I prefer on the rocks. Finished bottle and I'd like to replace.
If you can't afford the $50 for the Ron Zacapa then this one might be right for you. It isn't to that quality, but it is still a solid rum with good flavor. If you have both, offer this one to your friends. They probably won't know it is a $30 rum and will be happy about it. A good every day rum to have around!
This is a good rum, though the vanilla is a bit dominant. The vanilla is actually quite good, but it's hard to taste the rum over the vanilla (though this is far better than most other vanilla bombs I've tried). Easy drinking and smooth, I'll give this my top score for (what I believe should be) a flavored rum.
Pas de juste milieu, on adore ou on déteste, je suis perplexe face aux arômes de vanille,de chocolat, impossible à mes yeux d'obtenir ce résultat naturellement, une liqueur pas un rhum
Like a more expensive vanilla liqueur. Noticing that recent bottlings of the stuff are especially sweet.
Pomerne drahsi rum oproti pyrat, diplomatico a podobnym rumom. Na prvy krat mi tento rum vobec nechutil, pripominal mi tuzemak a rumove aromy do kolacov. Na druhy krat to uz bolo inak. Vyrazna vona vanilky, velmi tmavy rum. Neviem ale ci sa k nemu este niekedy vratim.
Very pretty bottle, opening it you get a smell of Oak, Caramel, Chocolate and no real alcohol smell. Kinda smells like maple syrup. In the glass its a very deep brown. Sipping neat you are in for a real shocker, its amazingly smooth. Its an amazing balance of heat taste and alcohol. This stuff was MADE to sip. Starts with a vanilla-oaky taste then you get the heat of the rum and the bold chocolate taste, maybe a hint of caramel sweetness in there toward the end. In diet coke it makes a velvet-y rum and coke, smooth flavors balanced in the coke make it easy to have "one too many".
This is great on the rocks. Almost tasted like cream soda but not overly sweet. Loved this one.

I discovered this at my liquor store for a new rum and it tastes fantastic. Mix this with coke and you have yourself a drink that's smooth that still has a nice bite of rum. Smells like vanilla and taste like gold.
