Slightly citrusy smelling, nicely flavoured with the slightly sweeter taste of sugar cane rums. Like a more subtle version of Diplomatico Reserva Exclusiva. A nice silky smooth finish. Lovely sipping rum.
Another sweet and pleasing rum with no personality. Most of people like it, but as I tasted it it gave me no experience. Just another one that tastes almost the same. But people will like it and I cant say its a bad rum. Its just boring to me subjectively.
For a rum that is good for sipping and also won't break the bank, I like Zaya a lot.
You are greeted with the smell of caramel when opening the bottle . Nice golden color on the pour. You can taste caramel, vanilla, and molasses when you sip it. Very smooth rum and highly recommended. I'm enjoying it with a cigar while smoking some meats.
As an entry into sipping rum, I liked it's price, availability, and overall taste. My go to for an all around nicer mixer and ice cold sipper. It goes both ways.
Very smooth. Rich vanilla notes. Truly one of the reasons i love rum.
was disappointed... the vanilla tones taste derived and not natural
Nice dark color, strong vanilla aroma, right amount of sweetness. A pleasant sip especially with a good cigar. Goes down easy.

Pleasant surprise at a Holiday Inn bar. Nice smooth drink over ice.
