Nez et bouche très caramel avec une fin de bouche très légèrement vanillée. Peu de sensations alcoolisée. Facile d'accès pour les néophytes.
When I first started drinking rum I really like this one. On my second time around after sampling many others...It's just ok. A little too dark and bitter. Goes down hard too. Aftertaste lingers very well. Just wish it was a bit more crisp and light.
This is a sweet rum and I recommend it to all that wants to try a easy to drink sweet rum. I also recommend that you always have two bottles at home because one of them always seems to run out :)
Very spicy, a change from the norm, pleasantly surprising. Great rum
Good rum to drink neat and if you like to do so - with coke. Pretty sweet though.
This is my first bottle of Zaya Gran Reserve and overall, I'm very impressed. In my opinion the nose this Rum has an aroma of butterscotch, caramel, and baking spices. The first drink gives you to hints of nutmeg, maple syrup, mocha, and dried fruits which are all well balanced and ending with a hint of smoke. The finish isn't as long or deep as I'd like. Overall, this is a must buy.
especially since Costco has this for like $33 after tax in Washington State. That's ridiculously cheap. While this isn't as good as Kirk & Sweeney 18 (8stars) or 23 (9 stars), it is solidly in the same league as Kirk & Sweeney 12 in this enthusiast's opinion.
Perfect rum with steong vanilla flavour. Is perfect choise anymore.
Such a bargain. If you're just getting into sipping runs and don't wanna fork over a lot, get this. A nice smooth honey like taste. Under $30.

This was the first rum I ever sipped. It has a slight bite that disappears as the ice melts. Full of vanilla and caramel with a molasses undertone. I always recommend this to starters.
