This is good. Among the best of the many new Hawaiian rums I have tried. It is not sweet. Very smooth with some balance. Tastes a little young and finishes short. Would make a nice mixer. If given another 2 years would likely be a good sipper. G
Costco so rarely has specialized rums that I had to try it, even though the light ones are usually not my thing. The mixture of three rums made it far better than others I have tried. Still very strong straight; but mixed it was decent. I am slowly learning to appreciate agricoles and maybe this is a good bridge to purer ones.
I’m very surprised how tasty this agricole is. At first I drink it on ice but I was really amazed at how well it works for mojitos and daiquiris.
40 heirloom varieties of native Hawaiian sugarcane are harvested from a farm in Upolu on the northern tip of Hawaii's Big Island. The fresh grassy flavor rivals Martinique's finer offerings. Aged for 90 days, this agricole is bottled at 46% abv.

There's a lot of "rubbing alcohol" ethanol notes here, especially on the nose, but looking past that it's a very tasty rum.
