Santa Teresa 1796 rum is produced in Venezuela and aged using the solera system that blends rums aged between 4 and 35 years. Before bottling, the rum is aged for a further year in large French oak casks to marry the blends.
This rum was first created in 1996 to celebrate the 200th anniversary of the establishment of the distillery, the Santa Teresa Hacienda.

Nice Smooth zipper... Easy to drink.. Little Boozy afterdrunk
This rum sneaks past the nose without giving much away but brings notes of butterscotch and cigar smoke on the tongue. A drop of water might bring out the nose but overall a smooth sipper.
Excellent Sipper can beat the sweet taste with that smooth bite on the way down.
This beautiful rum is pure joy. Each sip is just that fullness of taste in mouth that last loooong long. Truly exceptional choice! Highly highly recommended.

This rum is not sweet and has a nice vanilla touch, but the flavor is not very good maybe the alcohol flavor is very present there
I was gifted this bottle from a new friend. It’s been fun to sip on. I’m not a huge aged rum fan yet but am working on it.

A very good sipping rum, mixed 1-1 with coke it becomes dangerously good.
