Sailor Jerry Spiced

An admission. I was seduced by the look of the limited edition bottle bedecked with American Black Eagle & Rose. I thought that for the price it was worth a gamble on the quality of the contents even though I prefer my rum without added spices and if all else failed, I would still have an attractive collectable.
I fell for the Marketer's trick. Taken neat I got some vanilla, a burn and a bitter after-taste. With Coke the drink improves but does not leave me looking forward to the next glass, it just reminds me that I am a sucker.

Illatában vaniliás, nagyon vaniliás, kicsit sült cukros( nagyon kellemes )sokkal többet vártam az ízétől..édes vaniliás, alkoholos íz aminek egykettő nyoma vész, lecsengése olyan semilyen. Pepsi wild cherry-vel elmegy,iható !! A rumos címke hátulján ( ami nagyon könnyen levehető, és éppolyan könnyen vissza is ragasztható ) N.Collins egy rajza szerepel , íme :

Not all that spiced. Smooth, but heavy vanilla flavor. Would be tasty if advertised as a vanilla rum, but as far as spiced go, Kracken is better.

I think made in New Jersey is enough of a deterrent. I think the water is straight out of Jersey Shore. Steer clear of this unless you want the trots in the morning

Way too perfumed of vanilla and i still cannot find a cocktail in which it works

I have Always enjoyed the kraken as a rum I would buy if there were’nt ant other slices rums. I tried this one and it’s not the same quality... it lacks a bit of character. But i had worse

This is part of a 24 Rum Advent calendar Xmas present. 3cl per bottle.

Nice toasty vanilla nose, with a bit of butter. A good wallop of alcohol upfront, with a caramel mouth. A bit too alcoholic for my taste.

Decided I was finished with captain Morgan and coke when out drinking so I needed a new spiced rum and this caught my eye. Certainly better than Morgan's and I'll be buying a bottle soon!

A good spiced rum for mixing, it has a bit more vanilla and a bit more kick.

If you like cola mixers then this is another winner. Lovely smooth vanilla taste and not too badly priced. Better rums in that price range but a solid one at that.
