Ron Zacapa XO

I am a cigar aficionado and I’ve tried most brands but this Rum tops them all.

I can't really say that the taste difference is as big as the difference in price compared to the normal Solera 23.

Roligt att hitta ytterligare en rom som jag kan ge högsta betyg!!! Doftar vidunderligt och eftersmaken varar i en evighet. Den här är helt enkelt en utomordentligt suverän rom!!!!

Ich erkenne keinen großen Unterschied zum Zacapa 23. Beide sind hervorragend. Der Mehrpreis erschließt sich mir aber nicht

This rum is just a great “coringa”. Smooth on the mouth and great smell.

An absolute joy on nearly every level! I bought this after reading some reviews and though it's close to $100 the value of this rum really shines through!

When i tried the 23 a couple of years back i couldn't see what all the fuss was about . So i was in no hurry to pay a small fortune to try this one. Luckily i got to try it the other day at a friends wedding reception.
I do have a bottle of the older version with the different decanter which i still haven't opened but might do now to see if they taste the same.. As with the 23 not much on the nose and i would of liked to of left it in the glass for a while but it was already in a glass with an ice cube.. I tasted vanilla , brown sugar and maybe something florally ? Sweet , smooth easy to drink.. whats not to like apart from the vague 6 to 35 year age statement.. Beautiful packaging with a box , iv'e even got the boxed glasses to use when i open my own bottle !!

I was excited to get a glass of this at bern's steakhouse in tampa..I love zacapa 23 so I was really excited to taste it. It was truly delicious, Only problem was I had about 4 dirty martini's before seeing they had this rum so I'm looking forward to giving a more detailed review after getting my own bottle.
