Ron Zacapa XO Rum is produced in the highlands of Guatemala where it is distillled from fresh cane juice. The rum is then aged from 6 to 23 years at 7544 feet above sea level at 62 °F (17 °C) using the solera process. The solera aging process incorporates barrels that previously held American whiskeys, sherries, wines and Cognac
The unique Ron Zacapa XO glass decantur features an impression of a woven band around the middle, which is in reference to the original hand woven palm leaf petate bottle cover that covered the bottle

One of my favorite, taste is more than great, very smooth to nose!
Don't look any further. Angel droplets straight from heaven
I’ve enjoyed this for years. Nice taste and smooth. Not super complex.
I had this on holiday in a nice little restaurant in nerja, spain. I really enjoyed the smoothness and the complexity. Was paired with some very good quality dark chocolate. A must have for anyone enjoying a good rum.
The best rum of the Zacapa series. A very beatuiful designed bottle!
I am a big fan of their 23 Sisterno and just had a chance to try the XO for the first time. Found it very smooth and love the aroma
While in Belize we bought this for the beach but I fully knew that it was heavily dosed. It's not something I'd ever share with anyone else even as a "gateway" rum.
Chuť a vůně je srovnatelná se Zacapou 23, což mě s ohledem k ceně Zacapy XO dost zklamalo.
for me one of the best rums which you can find in many palces not specialized in rums

It is rich with coffee notes and a little tobacco.

Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

This was a gift from a friend who knew I really like Zacapa 23. XO is much like 23. Dark mahogany in color like it’s lesser cousin. A similar subtly sweet nose with a hint of smoke. The cognac casks add a layer of sweetness to the gentle sweet molasses and complexity of the lesser cousin. The finish is complex and rich in the throat. An extraordinary package. Not sure if the added cost over the 23 is worth paying but this is a great sipping rum!
