Ron Zacapa XO Rum is produced in the highlands of Guatemala where it is distillled from fresh cane juice. The rum is then aged from 6 to 23 years at 7544 feet above sea level at 62 °F (17 °C) using the solera process. A point up from the 23 Solera. It has more body and a longer aftertaste. A Good rum!
Aromatic like fresh fruit, and a taste to back it up. Smooth and sippable, with a lovely finish.
Had a lot expectation on this rum. For me a quite mild rum with nice caramell flavour. To be honest... a bit boring for that price.

I have a bottle of this and break it out only when I have someone over that appreciates it. Nice and oaky, depth of flavour I can’t explain.

Fantastic Rum and the most I've spent on a bottle even though it has added sugar the aftertaste was long and woody/oaky and I could still taste it even when the night was over, a brilliant rum.
