Ron Zacapa XO Rum is produced in the highlands of Guatemala where it is distillled from fresh cane juice. The rum is then aged from 6 to 23 years at 7544 feet above sea level at 62 °F (17 °C) using the solera process. The solera aging process incorporates barrels that previously held American whiskeys, sherries, wines and Cognac

I like its mildness but for the price it might need to be even a bit better.
I like the XO a lot and do enjoy drinking it neat. The problem though is that I truly was hoping to be blown away and love it unconditionally and that is not the case. I still gave it a 9 rating because it is that good but I was hoping for better. If that all makes sense? lol

one of the best i have had... bettter the zacapa solera 23 and the Flor de Caña Centenario 21 comes close but not quite as good...
this is a beautiful drink in a beautiful bottle. Save it for only special events. And only for yourself
This rum is extremely smooth with a nice long finish. It coats your mouth beautifully leaving yoir tongue wanting more of that experience.
It smells divine, and taste of fruits like a Christmas fruit cake.
This rum is best appreciated at room temperature with nothing else but you really appreciating its beauty.

I really enjoyed this amazing smooth rum. Fancy looking bottle. 100+ is a bit steep. But i will keep it stocked
Take the 23 year old up a couple of notches, triple the finish, smoothness and of course the price and you have this bottle of pure nectar! More like the perfect liquid dessert!

Er i en helt anden klasse en den klassiske 23 fra Zacapa. Denne rom er virkelig smooth. Den har rigtig godt af lige at stå 15 min i glasset inden den drikkes.
