Ron Zacapa 23 Solera Rum was created in 1976 in the highlands of Guatemala, where it is distilled in a copper-lined column still from fresh cane juice before solera aging.
The 500 year-old Spanish Sistema Solera method is used to age Ron Zacapa 23 in white oak casks. This results in a combination of rums aged between 6 and 23 years.
The current Ron Zacapa 23 bottle features a woven band around the middle, which is in reference to the original hand woven palm leaf petate bottle cover that covered the bottle.

I think that this was my 3rd rhum label to pick out. If You like sweet rhums this won't let You down.
This is perfect pair with vanilla ice cream or with good cigar. Just sipping and tasting with a good friends!

Great rum! For me, taste best, when added small ice cube.
Not as good as some Zacapa's but a worthy weekly drink, makes a very good Dark & Stormy.
..why many people think this is the best rum in the world if price is a factor. The color is great, the bottle is beautiful, the taste is lovely!
Deep taste and strong. Vanilla tones. Goes great with a coke chaser.
