United States | Spiced | 35% ABV
Launched in 2011, Bacardi Oakheart is the newest addition to the extensive Bacardi collection.
This spiced rum is aged for 1 to 2 years, filtered using a proprietary process, and then flavored with various spices including maple, nutmeg, cinnamon and honey.
Bacardi Oakheart took over two years to name and more than 2700 names were considered. The winner, Oakheart, is a reference to the charred American white oak barrels that house the rum while it ages.

I stay away from the bacardi name..but this rum is sweet.. smooth.. and flavorful..even if you dont like bacardi rums. you should give this a try..will keep a bottle of this around for sure
Not bad mixed with cola and lime, but has some very bitter spice flavours and the added sweetness doesn't really cover it up. The smokey maple flavour shines through more if you use less and makes for a good mixing rum. Not that bad overall, but feels like this is what happens when a rum pretends to be a bourbon.
Big shoutout to my cousin for buying this one for me! If I had only three words to describe this one would be sweet, smokey, and smooth. Better than gold still not on the same level as 8 but close.
Decent spiced rum... level with the captain morgans spiced... Very nice with coke, sours, lime and ice..... Also a very good cocktail rum due to spiced flavour makes excellent mojitos
This is a really sweet rum... works great with coke, but would definitely not recommend drinking it without it.
Het blijft een bacardi dan kan je niet veel verwachten . Maar voor te mixen is deze nog niet zo slecht voor op cafe als er niets anders is
Frist taste was good but soon the chemical bacardi taste took over π
It's an easy drinking spiced rhum, with a nice mellow taste, but it's a bit too "waterish" in the mouth I think. It lacks strength, or "body", I guess it hasn't seen any real oak barrel, or too quickly anyway... I paid it 14 euros in Paris (supermarket), it's not expensive but I prefer the (slightly) more expensive Sailor Jerry.
'oak barrels to impart a rich and smoky taste'

Smooth but it is also very sweet.
"There's a slight burn of alcohol and the spicing is maybe just a bit too much. There is also a slightly jarring aftertaste. Itβs a bit smoky and oily."

Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label
