United States | Gold | 40% ABV
Bacardi Gold rum is manufactured in Puerto Rico where it is distilled from fermented molasses. It is then filtered through charcoal and aged in charred oak barrels for between 1 and 2 years. Unlike Bacardi Superior, Bacardi Gold is only filtered once.
Bacardi's official logo, a fruit bat, dates to 1862 when founder Don Facundo Bacardi found fruit bats living in rafters of the building he bought to house the distillery. Bats are considered an omen of good luck in Cuba and have emblazoned Bacardi rum bottles ever since.

Le genre de rhum qu’ils vous servent dans les tous inclus.
Got in the habit of buying this for cocktails that called for Bacardi or Puerto Rican white/silver rum because it has a little mild character but nothing to ruin a drink.
Honestly, I like this better than Bacardi Ocho/8, but only because that has some unpleasant underlying flavors.
To date, my favorite Bacardi rum... which, okay, isn't saying much.
I’m new to rum reviews, this is a cheap American made rum that does its job. I enjoy the taste on its own or mixed in a drink. It’s got a certain punch to it but it’s not the worst thing nice had in my mouth.
Classic hangover generator. Made for cheap Cuba libres, the world over. Light Golden pour. Not a lot of endearing characteristics. Might ruin a good can of coke actually.
Nothing wrong with this rum and was my "go to" along with Lambs. And then I discovered rum ratings and found there were better rums and better values with this experience. Enjoy the journey! Thanks Rum ratings!
A step up from the worst of the well but that's about it. It has little to no real flavor
The title says it all. Its exactly what you expect out of a $15 bottle of rum. It burns in the mouth, it doesnt go down great, but when push comes to shove, it definitely gets the job done better than most in this price range. Its one of those 'I will drink it if its there, but I wont go buy it for myself' kind of rums. It may surprise you to have a a little sweetness and spice if you can really taste for them, but if you just want something cheap, with no surprises, this is the bottle for you!

Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

I've only drunk this in Tom & Jerry's in the wintertime. It's alright. Not offensive, and does the job. Not something I would stock other than to give it to guests I don't want to have the good stuff. But it's decent for the price.
