Abuelo Gran Reserva 12-Year

Es un ron clásico, muy agradable en color, nariz y boca. Para tomarlo puro y dejarlo en la copa por algún tiempo para que suelte lo mejor de sí. Fue una agradable sorpresa panameña.

Not strong-flavorful sure solera no 12 years as Diplomatico Single Vintage which is thich and strong. But has interesting flavour profile. Its older brothers must be really fine.

Really nice balance between strong alcohol, taste and good finish feeling, love it.

This one has some really good flavor. It has a slight bit of a bite, but not too bad. It's a solid choice.

One word : excellent. Can easily compete with the Flor de Cana

The twelve year aged offering from Abuelo is surprisingly IMO their worst offering that I've sampled. The smell and taste are both very harsh and give me more of an impression of whiskey than rum. Stick with the 7

Bought as a sample from www.masterofmalt.com for approx £5 for 3cl. This rum keeps popping up and have been meaning to try it for a while. At £32 on Amazon I may have to purchase a bottle some time after sampling it. Will admit I had my reserves with this one.

Amber liquid, a dark golden rum with prunes and raisins on the nose it's sweet and syrupy. The palate is spicy, a touch of pepper, sweet and slightly firy there's raisin and sherry flavours coming through in the warmth. A slight harshness in the throat but not affecting the experience at all.

This is a wonderful for its price at £32 a bottle on Amazon it's a steal!

Sous estimé selon moi. Très bon dans la gamme des 12 ans d'âge.
