Had an ethanol kick on the nose that made me apprehensive, but it has mixed beautifully. My go to use in daiquiris when testing new syrups and juices as it lets the flavors come through nice and crisp.

Finally a white rum with flavour, diversity, and personality. Dry, not cloying, and perfectly rounded. Crisp and clean finish.

Simple, clean, and bright. An easy choice for a daiquiri or a way to add proof to a tiki drink. Not strong enough to stand out if mixed with stronger flavors, which is not a bad thing if you’re showcasing other rums.

Look, for $18, I will gladly throw this in any drink calling for a light, Spanish-style rum. That being said, this is almost certainly just FdC 4 with some flavor compounds filtered out, and yeah... it tastes like it.

My favourite white rum for mixing so far! Fantastic in mojito and daiquiri, which are my two "go to"s at the moment. Smooth and simple taste, yet delicious. The fact that it is unsweetened, and still has that sweet rum smell and taste, really makes me enjoy it.

Aroma - orange followed by alcohol and strawberry.

Taste - sugarcane followed by slight oak and barrel spice

Ok, like is the case with the Flor de Caña Anejo Oro (7), it excels in the execution. You get more direct, white offspring of the distillate, which speaks out what whites are about. Yes, they are close to vodka. But, while the range of latter is best at approaching clarity of spirit, white rum can speak the tale of the sugarcane. The story of rum itself. I highly regard this particular maker, no nonsense here, rum of a kind is what you get.

Nothing fancy or complex, dry, with a hint of vanilla on the nose. Clean on the palate, nothing particularly pops out. Great as a daiquiri. Attractive bottle. Nothing notable when served neat.

Dry runs, but this is one of my favorite silver rums. Makes a mighty tasty mojito.
