Pyrat XO Rum is produced from nine different Caribbean rums that are blended and then aged up to 15 years in used American sweet oak barrels.
The squat Pyrat XO rum bottle shape is inspired by the typical design of rum bottles kept by pirates and ship captains in the 19th century.

Nez
Au nez, ce rhum hors d'âge dévoile de douces saveurs de vanille, caramel, miel et cannelle.
Bouche
La texture est très douce au palais, permet d'apprécier pleinement les arômes d'orange, de vanille, de miel et de caramel.
Pour la petite histoire, la bouteille du rhum Pyrat XO Reserve est soufflée à l'ancienne et le rhum est mis en bouteille à la main.
This rum have a serious after taste even when you mix it. It is not worth the price in Québec,CA (50$)
Very orangey taste. Great for mixing. But not a great experience straight. I thought this is unique but a bit overrated. Wouldn't buy again, but happy I tried it.
Good introduction to a sipping rum. Decent flavour, not too harsh, good for on the rocks.
Nice sipping rum, but you can get better for the price
Good colour and scent. A little on the sweet side. Recommended
Can taste orange flavor, blends well with coke. Not harsh at all. Not my choice for sipping.

A very definite hit of oranges.
