Pyrat XO Reserve

Really like this one. Great value for the money. Perfect with coffee.

Not on everyone's list of places associated with rum, let alone, having an idea of where Anguilla is located on the map. However, Pyrat rum provides a nice change of pace in the rum industry, flavor wise. Strong orange flavor provides a nice sweetness blended with various aged rums up to 15 years. I would not suggest mixing with soda due to the orange flavor. I suggest enjoying neat or possibly mixed in juice.

toffee, marzipan, fruit. sarsaparilla, nicely aged rum leaving long lasting flavour. I enjoyed it but didn't love it.

This is a rum I could drink every day. Very smooth, nicely sweet, no bite, and the lovely orange taste. A very unique rum; once you've tried it it will be instantly familiar. Classic bottle, it stands out on your shelf. Reasonably priced, good for sharing. If you're not a fan of orange though, avoid this one. The orange taste is dominant.

There are some rums that need a mixer but this is not one of them. I was introduced to this by a friend who spends all her time in the islands. It's vanilla and oak notes make it perfect with an oversized ice cube.

I'm surprised at the variety of options on this one - maybe it's the marmite of the rum world!
To me it's one of my favourites; nice and smooth followed by a gentle warmth...love it neat

Its a nice bottle but thats it. I tasted this even when i was afraid it will not be tasty and it isnt

It has a little kick to it not a fan for sipping with it but mix is good

really good rum smell a bit harsh but mixes great and its smooth to drink straight

This rum has some good flavor but oh man does it burn. I was advised after finishing the bottle that it needs to breathe, and looking at the reviews here now it seems others advise that too. So please when you buy this do yourself the favor and and open it and let it sit.
