Virgin Islands, British | Aged | 40% ABV
The Great British Admiralty first served rum daily to its Royal Navy sailors over 300 years ago until the ration was abolished in 1970. In 1979 Charles Tobias bought the recipe rights, formed Pusser’s Ltd. in the British Virgin Islands, and for the first time made the rum it available for public consumption.
Pusser’s British Navy rum today is the same blend of five West Indian rums as the British Admiralty issued to sailors.
Known as the “single malt of rum” Pusser’s British Navy rum is pot stilled using a similar method as that for single malt scotches, and with no artificial flavors is 100% natural.

Quality standard rum, not exceptional but still holds its ground.
You’ve got to mentally prepare yourself for pussers, like maybe have a warm up rum to begin. Does it hurt? Yes. Would this make you forget that your boots are permanently wet and that you haven’t eaten fresh produce in weeks?
Fleas! Nah, you’ve got pussers, so it doesn’t matter.
Great and rich aroma but not that rich taste. Strong alcohol punch but also lot of raisins, wood etc. I would say its better for people who love whisky and are looking for something bit similar.
If you want a shot of tradition, here is your chance. After 25 years of service in the RCN, I can honestly say this is a tradition that needs to continue. #OneWithTheStrengthOfMany
A product of Guyana or not, this has delicious demerara character with a deep woody flavor. I like this one a lot in tiki drinks, it adds a lot and adds an interesting notes.
I can usually get this pretty cheap, About $22 in NC. For a Jamaican style rum that mixes well and does as a sipper too that's really saying something.
Had awhile ago safe choice to keep around for guests
You can count on being able to find this one almost anywhere, when it’s navy grog that you need, and that is a good thing.
Original tot served to sailors

It has just the right balance of sweet.
"The rum is rich, warming, sweet, slightly oaked with hints of black pepper and allspice."
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

Pussers always make decent no nonsense navy rum and this is no exception.
