Virgin Islands, British | Aged | 40% ABV
The Great British Admiralty first served rum daily to its Royal Navy sailors over 300 years ago until the ration was abolished in 1970. In 1979 Charles Tobias bought the recipe rights, formed Pusser’s Ltd. in the British Virgin Islands, and for the first time made the rum it available for public consumption.
Pusser’s British Navy rum today is the same blend of five West Indian rums as the British Admiralty issued to sailors.
Known as the “single malt of rum” Pusser’s British Navy rum is pot stilled using a similar method as that for single malt scotches, and with no artificial flavors is 100% natural.

A very decent Rum that does not break the bank. It is worthy of drinking neat or mixing. A decent "Non-Show off Rum".
Go for it!
Pusser's blue label is the right step for exploring Navy Rum. Fair price, easy to sip and mix before moving forward to Pusser's 15year old masterpiece!!
Delicious rum to mix with RCDC. Dark Chocolate caramel.
I’ve been waiting for ages for this to become available here in Australia. It was ok to sip but fantastic in a Painkiller cocktail.
I don't know if i just have a bad bottle or what but this is the only rum i have spat out and poured my drink out. Proceed with caution.
This is an excellent choice for mixing a cocktail. I could drink it straight, but it's really not for that. Rum that tastes like rum, it's not grossly sweet.
I think taking away the daily tot marked the end of the British empire. Lord knows I'd be grumpy if they took away my Pusser's.
Didn’t like it neat but loved it with Diet Coke. Taste of dark caramel or toffee. Each time I have a glass, I like it more
As a rookie I am glad I gave this excellent rum a try. For a bit over 20€ I got a sipper I can really enjoy just as it is. The glass smells amazing even in the morning after.
Original tot served to sailors

It has just the right balance of sweet.
"The rum is rich, warming, sweet, slightly oaked with hints of black pepper and allspice."
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

An incredibly timeless british navy rum. Take the extra sugar away from a rum toffee, and there's your Pusser's flavor profile. It's straightforward, it's recognizable, it's the most solid foundation you could possibly think of to compare all other pot-still rums to.
It doesn't really do anything wild or unique to merit a higher score, and you're not going to be dreaming about this drink and how it changed your life, but make no mistake: This rum perfectly executes the concept it is aiming for.
