Plantation XO 20th Anniversary

One of my favourite. Sweet, balanced and smooth. An indispensable item of my collection.

Easy to drink. Bought it just to try it out.
The taste is not bad but i want more bite to it

Aan te raden. Perfect. Niet te zacht, niet te straf met fijne vanille toets.

Very good rum. I opened it for my birthday. Balanced, little alcohol is felt, beautiful colors, nice taste.
The bottle is extremely beautiful, which gives the rum even more charm.
XO for rum means nothing as far as I know, but that makes rum just more appealing.
I recommend it to experienced and beginners drinkers of rum.

Tento rum mi nesmí nikdy chybět.
Díky výšce lahve se skvěle vyjímá, ale většího úspěchu dokonce zažívá při vlastním ochutnání.
Jde o kvalitní rum, který má v sobě blend rumů 10-20let. Zdá se být sladší než známá Zacappa 23 solera, ale má příjemnější chuť a delší chuť. I přes vanilkový nádech se nejedná o vanilkový rum, jako je například Pyrat.
Pro příznivce sladších rumů s ještě rozumnou cenou jde o skvělou volbu. Vřele doporučuji.

If bought it being full of expectations after reading the reviews.... To some extent I got disappointed. Don't get me wrong. It is great, original in taste and smell. Round, sweet. Finish remind me one of the rouge Cognacs of my grandma... The same note I do find in the smell. And that's where my oughhhh aghhhh end ;).

There are so many 9 here that I don't understand. With Plantation I bought Dictador XO Perpetual... Oh that is great. Thats an 9 at least! I want argue however too much: Dictador was 50% more expensive.

Encore un Plantation qui vaut le détour... Et pas qu'un peu !

Dès l'ouverture de la bouteille déjà, la coco et la vanille attaquent les narines. C'est plus faible après aération, mais le nez reste intéressant. En bouche, c'est très rond mais pas trop sucré. Vanille et épices sont au rendez-vous, puis le boisé des 12 ans en fût de chêne vient parachever le tout. La finale est assez longue, avec ce rhum un peu "gras". La coco est de retour et on ne sentirait presque qu'à ce moment qu'il s'agit d'un spiritueux.

Probablement mon rhum number one avec le Millonario 15 ans. Une nouvelle dégustation pour trancher s'imposera !

This Rum is my favourite in my cabinet, always a strong card and when I invite an uninitiated, this bottle will always arrive.

Dès qu'on ouvre la bouteille, les effluves de futs de cognac se ressentent. Une fois en bouche nous sommes sur un rhum très doux (40°), le gout boisé confirme les effluves. Limite liquoreux, épais et long en bouche. Un excellent rhum, à ce prix, c'est une denrée rare.

This is the best rum I ve tasted for a while now. Exceptional aroma, not too sweet, not too oaky. The way its meant to be! It s price is on the premium side, but it's actually worth every cent. Will deffinetely come back to it. I would rate it with more than a 9 if I had the chance. 10 is too buku :)
