Plantation XO 20th Anniversary

I keep this rum on my cabinet allways.
Easy and sweet rum for beginners.

I couldn't place the oak taste, but this is a new oak barrel iteration for me. Very smooth. Tastes of fruit, molasses, and a hint of cocoa.

It can be enjoyed if the cabinet is otherwise empty, however it tastes a bit too much of alcohol for my taste

Ordered a sample of it, not tested yet but eager to share my experience

I'm a beginner and reading the reviews I hoped for aromas and sweetness but of all things it's just an alcoholic fire that nullifies all the pleasure of sipping… it's probably a problem in my taste buds 🙂

Great tasting rum for reasonable price. Not that expressive taste as some others, but great for full night of sipping

This rum delivers a good balance of sweetness and complexity to be preferable to most and still enjoyable to those more experienced. This is a rum you can serve to almost anyone and they will enjoy it.

I haven't had rum since about 5 years when we visited the caribbean. I really like the presentation of the bottle, the color gold/ amber, on the nose dry fruits and some tropical notes, smooth and a bit sweet. I tried it first neat and then on a rock (made from coconut water) both tastey great!

Naozaj vyzretý, hladký, plný. Všetko v poriadku, jedine v rodine Plantation nemusím ten anízový feeling.
