Pampero Aniversario was first crafted in 1963 to commemorate the Pampero company’s 25th anniversary. The rum is a blend of rums ranging in maturity from four to six years and aged in whisky and bourbon barrels.
The Pampero distillery was founded by Alejandro Hernández of Venezuela in 1938. The brand is now a division of the world’s largest liquor holding company, Diageo.

Heavy and flavorfull . a wonderfull dark rum with a little alcoholic burn but really smooth

Cheaper option of rum and at this price probably the best. Slightly sharper, but very friendly.
I felt this was a 7 when I bought it so no disappointment in the rum or the rating. Very nice color and texture, leathery taste at first (airing helps the sort of acidic bite) but very much better than lower end stock runs and not so expensive to keep out of mixers. Not a Kirk and Sweeny 18 by any means, but much better than my guests would expect. I will buy more.

Hezke baleni v kuzi, prijemny, dub, vanilka, trochu citrusy, da se k nemu vratit.
Love the aged smell of this rum. Starts off with a sharp bite, but smooths out quickly. Flavor stays in your mouth for a looooong time. Perfect for sipping and enjoying.
This is miles better than the low version of this rum.. It can be sipped on ice nicely but not amazing depth of flavour of taste

Smooth and warm with subtle vanilla and oak notes. Could be purely psychological because of the leather pouch, but maybe even a hint of leather in there. Great to savor in a large snifter warmed by the hands.
