I was at my friends pirate party and among the pile of sh!t rum on the counter I saw this little guy wedged in the back, I couldn't believe it. Not like it's Appleton 50, but still I will add that to the list of life wins. Yeah it's pretty good, about what you expect in the price range The more you get cultured in rum you see this one isn't anything particularly special nor is it bad per say especially in it's price range. I keep saying "in it's price range" well honestly it works like this in rum. 10-20$ you get a vanilla-oak with molasses tasting rum, bonus points if it doesn't burn. Rums in this price range haven't been aged long enough to reveal any real distinctiveness. Because of this they also tend to be very harsh so even if you could hypothetically taste all that blhabalh your tongue is going to be preoccupied with the harsh burn. 20$-30$ you get this kind of rum, a stronger oak and better blend of vanilla and flavors. Here is when unique flavors start to pop their head out but rums around this range are still a little harsh and need to be diluted with some cola/rocks. $30+ it's all up to grabs but generally this is where you find the very distinct tasting rums.So anything in the range of 30$+ I am looking for a good sip and I hold the standards up higher to them. This don't make it. Taste value wise it's a generic $20 rum and at that point there are a few that beat it. Not bad but nothing flashy which is extremely important to me and what I base all my ratings on. I want a rum that has a distinct flavor, one that gives me that "you know I could really go for some Appleton 21 on the rocks right now". If it doesn't give me that impression than it most certainly is not a 10. This is average and forgettable, 7.

The bottle has a nice shape and leather sac. The rum has a red colour that is special. The smell is a bit sweet a bit bitter. The taste has a weird aromatic twist. Maybe because of the vanilla. There is a hint of caramel and bitterness. The overall is not so great. The sweetness is lacking for my taste.

Just found this while down in New Orleans and was very pleased. So pleased that I picked up the last two bottles. The initial smell is of a warm rich cocoa with an oakiness and tobacco smell. The taste is sweet like a caramel and vanilla like flavor with hints of coconut and a light citrus. This is a good quality rum to enjoy neat or with 1 cube.

Den var noget bedre end forventet.
Lidt spritet til at starte med, efterfulgt af en krydret smag og sluttede med en smag af let brændt eg.

Rum considerato"premium" tra i commerciali, in realtà appena sufficiente.
Bello il packaging.

Obviously a very good rum. Just not my taste. Too pronounced, strong on the palate and overpowering. Would love it if it were less sharp and a bit sweeter.

Solid tasting rum. A bit sweet but which goes well with cigars. I personally would recommend it as a good everyday drink and save the Millionario to special events

Dark color, sharp scent. Pretty good taste actually, bit banana like, although there is quite the alcohol sting. Packaging is nice, with the leather jacket
