Pampero Aniversario Reserva Exclusiva

best described as... much much like diplomatico reserva exclusiva, but not quite as sweet. Overall, still a good rummy flavor.

Pampero Aniversario is the best rum in this price level.
Good for cocktails, but not bad as a fine glass of rum.

Vůně medu, trochu dřeva, snad i trocha kůže. Chuť není příliš silná, trochu citrusů. Rozhodně není sladký, ale příjemně se pije. Dozvuk není ostrý.

- Výrobcem je venezuelské Pampero. Používají trojnásobnou destilaci.
- Je blendován z rumů zrajících v dubových sudech 4-8 let.
- Barva je krásně tmavě mahagonová.
- Vůně je těžká, po dubu, kavě, karamelu a je tu intenzivní vůně tabáku
- Chuť je po cukru, vanilce, skořici, višních a hrozinkách.

Nice Rum with notes of cinnamon, chocolate and a hint of sweetness, also with good body.

Agradable Ron con notas de canela, chocolate y una pizca de dulzor, ademas con buen cuerpo.

Dark, sweet and nice rum, good to taste with an Habanos, and it is not very expensive.

I’ve had several bottles of this Rum, and the quality appears to be different.

Here‘s how the latest one tastes (bottled in Italy):
Nose: some oak and caramel, but pretty shy.
Palate: rather thin, but comes with a nice taste from the barrel and some hints of leather. Not much volume, but less disappointing than the last bottle.
Unfortunately it‘s colored.

3 Years earlier:
This rum starts with a pretty sharp and harsh alcohol smell, but there are some hints of caramel and oak in between.
Also the taste is pretty sharp, has a touch of spiritus, but always combined with those hints of vanilla, toffee, caramel and oak. Interesting, but I miss the volume and the balance in it.

Der Pampero Aniversario hat einen sehr leckeren Geschmack und bietet ein tolles Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Für 20€ ein sehr guter Tropfen.
Süßlicher Geschmack mit Vanillenote, leicht alkoholischer Abgang und guter Nachgeschmack. Nicht so lecker wie der Botucal Reserva Exclusiva, dennoch sehr gut.
Die Flasche sieht edel aus und der Ledersack ist auch ein schönes Detail.

good choice for everybody... nice on nose with some vanilla and chocolate, sweet one but not overly sweet... I can drink it anytime!

Between the leather packaging, the dark pour, and the complex yet approachable taste, this is one of my go to introductory rums, especially for bourbon heads.

This pours a dark, substantial maroon, matching its leather bag wrapper. The nose is toffee, the taste is thst with taste is nuts, alcohol, and oak. This warms the whpke way down but does not burn.

Way more layered than you would expect. The more it breathes and the more you sip, the .ore you learn. Good neat or with ice. A stellar blend overall.
