I like this rum very much. Ill rate it at the same level than Zacapa 23 and El Dorado. Good flavor , aroma and complexity.

I just cannot believe how insanely well balanced this stuff is for just slightly over 20 eur per bottle. Even when just out of the bottle this already tastes great with hints of banana and a spicey (no burn!) after taste. Leave it for 30 minutes and you'll get that toffee taste, buttery smooth in the throat with a bit of vanilla. In north west Europe I think you can get this almost everywhere and I would recommend to do so.

Příjemné překvapení v podobě sladší chuti. Za tu cenu je to fakt super rum. Srovnatelný s Krakenem.

Great presentation - With a handy little leather pouch. Sweet, without overdoing it. If my memory serves me right its a blend of 4 year old rums.

This is an Anejo that delivers on its label. But, it is different in a good/interesting way.

The nose and finish are the same - oak, tobacco, and coffee. There are hints of vanilla and camel but they get washed out on the pallet by a strong leathery note that compliments the stronger flavor of the barrel. There's not much of a bite on the finish, its a smoother Anjeo despite its relatively young age.

This is a "sugar/camel added rum" but doesn't deliver sweetness, floral or fruit notes. It's a one dimensional rum, but its the absence of sugar, floral, and fruit notes and instead a strong coffee note I found to be pleasantly different and unique

Even with sugar added I don't think this deserves a 7 because its a very good quality Anjeo - a rare commodity.

The packaging and bottling is a home run. The stout bottle is sharp looking and sophisticated and the leather bag is an awesome touch.

Its a good sipper but also went very well with cola. I can also see it being used to balance out a fruit mixer.

For $30 a bottle (New York price) I'd say its worth experiencing.

Little burn as this extraordinary sipper falls effortlessly over your tongue.

The best thing about this rum is the presentation. The rum itself smells a bit old and leathery. It tastes like that too, with undertones of tobacco and oak. It is quite sharp and does not have the complexity or roundness of the rums I hoped it would rival - like El Dorado.
It's not a bad rum, but at that price point, no thanks.

I really like the old world look and feel of the leather bag, label, and bottle. Looking at it you would not think it is 750ml until you pick it up. I paid $38.00 for 750ml. It does have a nice flavor and aroma but they aren't quite as bold as I like rum to be. As others have noted, it also seems a bit flat with little "mouth feel". This isn't one of my favorites and I probably wouldn't purchase it again, but I would not have been disappointed at all if I had received this as a gift. Nice rum, Nice presentation.
