Pampero Aniversario was first crafted in 1963 to commemorate the Pampero company’s 25th anniversary. The rum is a blend of rums ranging in maturity from four to six years and aged in whisky and bourbon barrels.
The Pampero distillery was founded by Alejandro Hernández of Venezuela in 1938. The brand is now a division of the world’s largest liquor holding company, Diageo.

Dark, rich, and tasty. One of my favorites on the nose. The palate is on the sweeter end, very rich, not complex, smooth and easy drinking. It doesn't hold up to the nose. I probably enjoyed smelling this more than drinking it. The presentation is great and the bottle looks awesome. There's nothing really to complain about, but nothing to really remember either. It's a very safe gift bottle.
The first sip for me was a little bit heavy because I like more the sweet stuff. But after a while I get used to the complex taste and I must say: I love it now a lot!! And I like of course the look of the leather bag.
One tip: In hot chocolatemilk it's the best!!

If you ask me, this is not a rum you want to consume on your well deserved Friday evening. To much bitterness because of the taste of alcohol. In my opinion it is only good with some coke mixed, but let’s be honest, we want our tasty rum neat and not touched with anything. I cannot recommend this one.

Toto je rum stvořený pro pomalé usrkávání. Má krásné jemné aroma a v chuti je už poznat delší doba staření. Vše je takové příjemně uhlazené. Fajn.
