For a lonely night and wanting to have a good time. Excellent rum, can be taken directly. If you like to talk and sing this is your rum. Have lemon on hand. only for the ship's captain.
Nothing special for the price of it... Lacks in flavour and any quality
A bit thin and volatile when drunk straight up or on ice. Best served with cola. About as good as Bacardi is to white rums.
being Scottish I had to try o.v.d it does have a strong smokey taste but is nice to drink.
A nice mixer, or on the rocks, but a little harsh and indistinct neat. I think as a demerara rum, it works well in cocktails too. A good one to have on the shelf!
Its very nice but when revisited the "cold coffee" tastes becomes a bit cloying

Really dark in the glass, with surprisingly thin legs. Full of fruit, smoky and leather. Probably best as a mixer, not really enough in it to drink neat.
Currently Β£24 a litre at Tesco π
Nice and dark with a different taste, the demerara giving it the toffee taste. Not bad, would have it again
Although it seems quite smooth it burns quite harshly.
"With cola it immediately frothβs up (as Navy rums often do) however, it doesnβt taste quite like a navy rum."
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

Exactly as good as I had hoped it would be. This classic dark Demerara rum with notes of toffee, molasses, and rubber is bottled in Scotland. Since there is no distribution here in the United States the shipping cost was twice that of the bottle price, yet I do not regret making the purchase.
