This is a very light, fruity, semi-sweet rum. It's not amazing. It's good enough to enjoy drinking it, but just barely.
This one has an awful acetone note and tastes more like a lightly sweetened vodka. Terrible in cocktails, terrible on its own.
No bones about it, this not be a sippin' rum. She has very little smell with barely a hint of sweet and a lot of alcohol. Not a terrible aroma! As flavor goes, there be barely a hint of sweet, but there also be the slightest hint of either vanilla or caramel - hard to tell - with an even smaller hint of fruit. She be confusingly smooth given the burn that follows... all the way down the hatch. Devil a doubt, but this rum would be a good startin' point for a more flavorful, spicier rum. If this be their 12th blend, I would be interested in seein' what lucky 13 had to offer... arrgh!
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

Interesting on ice but far from a sipper. this is in the sample class as bacardi, lambs and Captain....maybe a bit better. There are much better out there and was purchased as a sample from Sazarac House in New Orleans.
