Kraken Black Spiced

One of my personal favorites for rum and coke. Very heavy on the spice which is great for giving the cocktail that extra flavor. It also comes with a great looking bottle with real piratey vibes with sort of rope loops you can put your finger trough and wave around as you let your inner Jack Sparrow free.

A black spiced rum that can have quite a harsh after taste. Very sweet. Adding lime helps balance the flavour.

Powerful and potent flavor profile with a nice aftertaste. On the other hand the scent is quite mild. The taste itself makes this almost black rum one of the better ones. In addition, the bottle is very cool, and makes you feel like a pirate. Only 'problem' is that you can not consume it very much on one sitting due to sweetness and heavy spicing.

Good smell, but not oily in the glass.
There is an artificial taste similar to coke. Maybe too much caramel.
Not too sweet.
Very cheap and easy to find.

This rum is only ok....

Zaradil by som ho k tým pitelnejším rumom, navyše v pomere cena/kvalita je to určite dobrá voľba.

Best spiced rum out there, gives a lot more to give.

When it comes to Sweet Spiced Rums, this is my go to.. On the rocks or with a dash of coke(cola)

I love Kraken. If you're making cocktails, or drinking your rum with a mixer, Kraken and Sailor Jerry are my two favourites.

Not a rum to drink neat or on the rocks given its relatively potent flavours.

Suggest mixing one part Kraken with one part blackcurrant cordial (Ribena) for an after-dinner dessert!
