Kraken Black Spiced

Had this as a free taster along my order. I figured trying it, since it was a gift anyway, but it's just as cheap tasting as captain Morgan crap. The after taste is what is worst, long unpleasant, overkill with the spices which overrule all other flavours (doubt there were any)

Bought this over the holidays. Was not too impressed. I like the high proof but it didn't have stronger flavour to go with. I don't know if it's the spices they use but I have had more enjoyable spiced rums.
We ended up using it for rum and egg nog, which I must say it shines in.

Furry taste and great kick power. This is cool option for taste spiced rum as first, or even it is best spiced rum i have ever tried. Best taste on ice or with coke. Lime could be added. In fact i don't like spiced rums but this one is coll for show and make some ppl interested in rum world. Nice design.

Not a bad dark spiced rum, but leans heavily on vanilla (and that's about all). It definitely lacks a complex flavor palette. I prefer Captain Morgan black spiced rum over this any day. It's not terrible, but there are better options out there. Surprised by how expensive this stuff is.

As spiced black rums go, it’s ok. I have other favorites. Definitely a mixing rum.

Eight with a good mixer. Seven with just coke. Easy to drink
