A poor man’s watered down version of hampden the younger, nose is similar but less banana, taste is less esther and more burn. Just get a hampden instead

7,5:The nose, well balanced, opens with a beautiful, extremely ripe banana. The rum is slightly coppery and above all brioche-like, with long ribbons of ripe exotic fruit.We could say Worthy Park like.
Airing brings milk chocolate, a creamy texture and pastry aromas. Cherries are followed by black tea and dried banana.
7,5:The palate is very smooth, a typically Jamaican rum, gourmet with honey pastry and brioche flavors (prunes, candied fruit, custard, cherry, malted cereals).
7,4:The finish is pretty long, with flambéed, dried banana, accompanied by a sweet pineapple juice, little spicy .

I like the Navy Island rum cause it has a rich and interesting history. It's a great rum to drink during a hot summer's eve. Not that special but price wise is very descent if you ask me.

Category of naval rum, a little brutal but interesting and not bad in its own way

The nose on this is of bug killer. The taste is of some medicinal treatment for skin rash. This stuff is horrible. I have at least 6 Jamaican rums in library and this stuff is going down the drain. Not drinkable by me or any of my rum-guzzling friends! Avoid at all costs.

Bought it for my trip to egypt case they dont have nice rum there.
Its a blend from jamaican rum without addition from sugsugar.Its a little dry in the mouth..
