Nice rum for cocktails, caramel and vanilla but not too sweet.
Περισσότερο θυμίζει VS κονιάκ, παρά ρούμι. Σχεδόν ανεπαίσθητες μυρωδιές βανίλιας, μαύρης σοκολάτας και, περισσότερο, δρυός οι οποίες καλύπτονται από το έντονο αλκοόλ που, παρά τα 12 χρόνια ωρίμανσης, δεν κατάφεραν να στρογγυλέψουν αρκετά. Το θετικό, για μένα, η έλλειψη γλυκύτητας και το αρνητικό, η έλλειψη επίγευσης, ίσως και γεύσης.
This is a rum made in Column stills from molasses, so that makes it very similar to the ones made in the Spanish Caribbean. On the nose, I can feel some caramel, vanilla, and banana. The taste is very smooth some hints of vanilla and almost like bourbon. I will have rated 8 but the aftertaste was a bit alcoholic for me, but still, this is a pretty good rum.
Smooth? You bet! A “sugarcane” scotch. Great one to share with the family on a Sunday morning. Don’t judge...
Enjoyable on it's own or with your favorite mix. A great taste and well worth it!
Enjoyed rum tasting with old friend of mine. This one was the best! Feeling good bourbon inside. Not sweet
Nice to drink! Not to strong but a good flavour. I like it.
Nice texture and bouquet. Tastes great neat, but also good with Coke
