A sugar-free 12-year old, ultra premium rum that is sustainably produced (Carbon Neutral & Fair Trade certified). From a 5th generation family estate, it is naturally aged without artificial ingredients, distilled 100% with renewable energy and KOSHER certified. A full-bodied rum with a long and smooth finish that lingers in the palate. Best enjoyed in a Rum Old Fashioned or with a splash of premium sparkling water or ginger ale and an orange twist.

This is a great value for the quality of rum that you get. The aroma and palate is very similar to Santa Teresa and Real McCoy 12. It’s a good to go drink.
Een rum die makkelijk weg drinkt maar niet lekker blijft hangen .
Vlakke rum. Doet weinig in eerste instantie.
I smell the coconut, caramel aroma, woody flavour, not too intensive, short finish.
Lighter than it looks, with nice oak and vanilla undertones, it’s not quite as smooth as I’d expect after 12 years in the barrel. Still a solid choice to sip, and stands up well to ice or lime.
This rum is very smooth and great in all sort of cocktails
bit stronger, than i would expect from a 12yr old rum.
It has an interesting aroma but you can feel the strong taste of alcohol. I liked the package, the color of the rum and the bottle.
'smooth and full of fruit and nut flavors'
"Flor de Cana 12-Year rum review by The Ultimate Rum Guide"
There is very little astringency or “booze” noted in the nose.
"A sip reveals a very smooth yet spicy rum. There is very little burn it tingles on the lips and tongue for a long time. It is a long finish."
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

A rum with woody profile. On the nose is a lot of wood and orange (reminds me of MG XO).
Not very special or complex. Less spicy than MG. I could imagine bourbon cask with cognack finish.
The initial taste is weak, in the middle there is some spirit with citrus (the alcohol Integration is not very good). Overall it's not a bad rum, but there are much better rums.
