Nicaragua | Aged | 40% ABV | Column Still (1-4)
A sugar-free 12-year old, ultra premium rum that is sustainably produced (Carbon Neutral & Fair Trade certified). From a 5th generation family estate, it is naturally aged without artificial ingredients, distilled 100% with renewable energy and KOSHER certified. A full-bodied rum with a long and smooth finish that lingers in the palate. Best enjoyed in a Rum Old Fashioned or with a splash of premium sparkling water or ginger ale and an orange twist.

I like it, surely will buy it in the future and easily recommend.
Smooth with enough burn to make you know it's a rum, nice caramel flavours throughout
Nice rum. Smooth on second sip. Very dry, rather simple in taste
It was an ok rum, but did not make my day. I have the impression the 18y and 25y are CONSIDERABLY better.
This rum is a very adequate sipping rum without setting the world on fire. It’s smooth and warming. I wish you could 1/2 points, this would be a 7.5
Beautiful color, mellow, with a lite burn. Not overpowering. Not alot of scent to it. But for the price a nice easy drinking rum
I’d say it’s maybe a little lower than Appleton 12 Rare Blend for me personally. I’d give it a 6.5 if I could. Not my favorite, but still good.
Wonderful to sip on but can’t help myself to think of how poor the working conditions flor de Cana has. It’s a shame.
Moving from the 7 to the 12 you realise that this is the one meant for sipping. It’s solid enough Spanish-style rum with no sugar added -bonus! Dry and roast coffee hints? Decent
'smooth and full of fruit and nut flavors'
"Flor de Cana 12-Year rum review by The Ultimate Rum Guide"
There is very little astringency or “booze” noted in the nose.
"A sip reveals a very smooth yet spicy rum. There is very little burn it tingles on the lips and tongue for a long time. It is a long finish."
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

This one is probably just me, but there was something off and unpleasant about the finish that just threw me off. The taste itself before that was really good, smooth and fruity. I might have to try it again sometime to see if it's gone.
