A sugar-free 12-year old, ultra premium rum that is sustainably produced (Carbon Neutral & Fair Trade certified). From a 5th generation family estate, it is naturally aged without artificial ingredients, distilled 100% with renewable energy and KOSHER certified. Klasicky sladký ničím zajimavy rum. V chuti karamel, cokolada
Often recommended in rum books and sites, it had to be tried. However, I waited til it was on offer for mid 20s and that was probably about right. Sips well and mixes ok. Nice to have tried but won’t be re-buying immediately when it runs out
I've heard great things about FDC 12. It wasn't too pricey in my area, so I picked up a bottle hoping to find a sleeper sipper. The bottling and presentation are very nice. To me the nose was a bit harsh, however, I could pick out caramel and a hint of vanilla. The mouth feel is nice and slightly oily. No problems there. The aftertaste was a mix of oak and nuttiness, which I found quite nice.
It's difficult for me to decide what to do with this bottle. It's not quite intriguing enough to keep as a sipper, yet it feels wrong to use this as a mixer. Time will tell.
Very smooth but sweet tasting rum. They should remove the 12 from the bottle
Caramel, herbs, chicorei, medic, vanille, pear syrop.
I’m loving the new tastes of this 12 year now that the new master distiller is in charge.

Neat not very tasty. In a coke it's better. But for that it's a bit too expensive. Maybe some older version will be better.
